WOOHOO! Winter term is officially over--- spring starts next week, but that means we have a well deserved mini spring break! :) We both took our last finals today. The line at the testing center was outrageous! (All the way out the door and wrapped around the corner! but thankfully the weather is gorgeous so I didn't mind spending a little more time outside.
We have an exciting week planned out:
We're having a little bonfire up the canyon with some friends to celebrate the end of finals.
Tomorrow we are going to a birthday party for my friend Sara S.
and Saturday we are going to another birthday party for our cousin Alicia, I think. Either that or there is a ward dance that we could go to also.
and the Sunday (after church of course) We are headed to Las Vegas for a few nights! woohoo!!! We got a really good rate on a hotel so we plan to eat at buffets, go to some shows, and just spend some time outside of Utah!
We get back on Wednesday (and actually miss 2 days of spring term... oh well) It's totally worth it!
Hmm. life is good. We have just been enjoying the nice weather. I'm looking for good books to read-- any suggestions?

One of our book club books was "Harris and Me" by Gary Paulsen. I heard it was good. It's a young adult book. "A Long Way from Chicago" is also another fun young adult book by Richard Peck. They're easy reads. And, "The Wednesday Wars" by Gary Schmidt. Alas, none of them are romantic Twilight books though. Maybe you should try Pride and Prejudice. I've never read it. Good luck! Have funnnnnn!
Wow, that's a long line! Shaun has to take a test tonight, so I hope the line is calmed down by then....And speaking of that, Shaun is taking a test tonight. So when he's done, if it's not really late, we'll come to the bon fire. :) We hope you enjoy your spring break! It sounds way fun! And another book: Next on my list of books to read is "The Education of Little Tree." I heard great stuff about it...
Ok. So, so far Harris and Me is just annoying me, but I'll let you know if I like it later. I'm only into about 20 pages.
