Grad video

I was holding Luke with one hand and trying to get the video with the other one, that's why the video is so bad! Sorry about that, but I thought it might be worth it sharing because the lyrics are funny. For those who don't know Emily graduated with a bachelors of science in dietetics, hope the lyrics make more sense now.
Enjoy!

Graduation!

Here is Emily with a smile from ear to ear after receiving her diploma. There were thousands of people there. Luke and I were sitting so close to the stage that we manage to get this picture.

Doesn't she look gorgeous? I'm so proud of my beautiful wife. So smart and dedicated to her family. Yeap... she is my wife.

Here is Luke cheering from the benches for 'mommy'.

After receiving her diploma we went to take some pictures, so that we can have good memories of this day, and I think we did. Notice Emily's face on this picture.

She is definitely ready to "face" the challenges of life.

After a couple of tries and lots of effort we managed to get the picture we were looking for! High in the sky!

You go sweet heart ! ! !

It was great Tim and Karen to come all the way from Oregon. I'm hoping that they would come to mine in August as well : ) ( jk No worries, you don't have to ).

Isn't this a cute pic?

Family hug, we did it!

It was an amazing weekend. We got time to spend with family and enjoy their company. For me it is just amazing how Heavenly Father has blessed us on every step of the way giving us the opportunity for both of us to finish our studies and have a family.

Luke is almost 5 months!

So here are some pictures when he was still 4. He knows how to hold his bottle, and he loves to play with a ball that he got from his ant Sarah. We love him so much!

Here is Luke just resting his head after tummy time. He is taking a break ;)

First little steps ! ! !

So our little angel boy is starting to stand on his own (well...he can stand). He is pretty strong and can support all of his weight on his legs.
Life is full of blessings, and looking at those big brown eyes and his beautiful smile makes this life so worth it. We are excited about every little foot step that he's about to take in his life. I love being his dad!

Luke's Nursery! ! !

So since we will be down sizing to a smaller apartment soon, we got rid of our spare bed and turned the spare bedroom into a NURSERY for our baby Luke. The "art work" on the walls was created by my sweet darling husband Francisco and I. I did the one with Luke's footprints and Francisco did the other one. All the furniture is second hand, that's why they don't match and is not because our lack of taste : )

We made these in our history of creativity class. Luke came every Monday and was such a good boy for 2 1/2 hours.

Checkin out the news

So, I was looking at the grocery ads the other day and Luke wanted to play with the paper. He just looked so cute playing with it and pretending to read it that I took pictures. I didn't think anything of it. Just cute. However, when I told a friend about this, they informed me that I probably shouldn't let me baby eat newspaper because it's dirty. I want your honest opinion: Do you think it's really bad to give your baby newspaper to play with?

Catchin' Up!

My really good friends from back home recently moved to Idaho (which is way closer to Utah!) Over conference weekend, they came down and visited us for a couple days! It was so nice to see them and meet their adorable kids! We were able to go to the mall and just hangout. We even went to Shaun and Lanette's for dinner.

One of my favorite memories with Amber and Jon was when they blew up photos of me when I was in middle school and posted the posters all over the school for my 16th birthday! AUGH! One of the pictures was of me at a sleepover when we watched the movie "Signs" and later made tinfoil hats like in the movie. I was wearing the tinfoil and my pajamas. I was probably about 13 and completely skinny and awkward. They wrote on the signs "Kiss me! I'm 16!". Sadly, that morning I woke up sick (headache or something-- I don't remember!) but didn't go to school that day. So everyone had to make fun of me without me until the next day... what pranksters!

I've had some really good times with those two and I'm so glad we were able to see them again!
